There is always something happening at the Phoenix.  Monday thru’ Wednesday there are the usual pub games, skittles darts and pool.

On Thursday nights the weekend starts. We have Karaoke on the first Thursday of every month with live music on every other Thursday. At least once a month we have live music on a Friday night before the Nightclub upstairs opens. Quite often these are tribute acts …….. keep watching out for them.

Every Sunday night at 8.30ish the owners have a free bingo and quiz night. The free bingo is for chocolate and T shirts or other prizes brought back from their travels. The quiz is a multiple choice quiz of 15 questions and starts about 9.15pm. It costs just 50p to enter and the winner receives case of Lager or Cider or a prize of equal value. . At around 10 there is bingo for bigger prizes ranging from a 3 litre bottle of Vodka to Jack Daniels memorabilia. The evening is finished off with music from one of the resident DJs.
